Almost everyone who has been following my channel seems to know that the next show is A Very Potter Music Show, premiering just before Christmas this year, but this is the first official announcement of the cast. I’d also like to note that because of such a large turnout, there are two casts for this show. There was already going to be two performances–one regular performance and one family friendly performance that omits Granger Danger–you just can’t have all the swearing and sexual content on a channel that also does a lot of Disney, so this will be our own slightly cleaner version of the show.
The Golden Trio

April Cox, Soprano, leads the cast as Harry Potter. With a vocal range of Eb3-Eb6, she brings a unique take on the character. She has previously portrayed Anna in Frozen, Jeannie in Aladdin, Rafiki & Timon in The Lion King, Prince Eric & Flounder in The Little Mermaid, Isabela in Encanto, Elphaba/Glinda in Wicked, and Moana in Moana Music Show.

Playing Harry’s best friend Ron Weasley is Steph Henderson, Contralto. With a range of approximately C3-E5, she shows off the totality of that range with a focus on the lowest part of her voice in Going Back to Hogwarts and the higher part in Voldemort is Going Down.

Rounding out the golden trio is Amanda Higley, Soprano, as Hermione Granger. In this production, she demonstrates a range of approximately A3-C5.

The Remaining Leads

Rounding out the leads, we have Layla Clarke, Mezzosoprano, as Ginny Weasley, Zoe Anne, Soprano, as Draco Malfoy, Jacqueline Novy, Mezzosoprano, as Professor Quirrell & Lavender Brown, and Adam Magwood, Baritone, as Lord Voldemort.
The Supporting Cast

The supporting cast is made up of James Benum, Alto (Cedric Diggory), Richard Bingham, Baritone, (Dumbledore), Tess Kaplan, Mezzosoprano (Cho Chang/Bellatrix Lestrange), MaryCaroline Gibson, Mezzosoprano (Pansy Parkinson), Melanie Grunwald, Alto (Gregory Goyle & Simba, previously played Tamatoa in Moana), Zachary Middleton, Baritone (Vincent Crabbe & Lucius Malfoy), William Schoedel, Baritone (Ernie MacMilan & Peter Pettigrew), and Aaron Smith (Neville Longbottom).
The Easter Eggs

This show represents the first that has Easter Eggs from past shows. I’ve already mentioned one! There will be spots here and there where you will have the opportunity to search for Easter Eggs, such as Jeannie’s lamp or King Triton’s trident.
Music Arrangements & Choreography
Music arrangements were done by April Cox and Marissa Mann, and Jacqueline Novy choreographed Dance Again, while April Cox put together the movement for Going Back to Hogwarts.
