Hercules & Megara is a myth-inspired musical dramedy that follows the journey of an arrogant demigod and a fearless missionary whose paths cross in the depths of the Underworld.
Hercules, the son of Zeus, believes greatness is his birthright. Glory, fame, and heroism seem inevitable to him—until he is sent on a quest that demands more than strength.
Megara is something very different. A missionary with the rare ability to sense the hearts and minds of others, she ventures into hell to rescue souls enslaved by Hades. When her mission goes wrong, she becomes trapped in the Underworld herself.
When Hercules descends into the darkness in search of a soul worthy of rescue, he discovers that the soul he has been sent to save is Megara.
Escaping the Underworld—and confronting the forces that rule it—will test far more than his strength.
It might just show him who he is.
Season One: The First Labor of Love
Season One begins with a story already in dispute.
The Muses attempt to tell the story of Hercules in their own dramatic fashion, but Hercules and Megara are quick to interrupt when the truth becomes too distorted.
As the real story unfolds, Hercules journeys into the Underworld on a quest to save a worthy soul. There he finds Megara—a missionary imprisoned by Hades after attempting to free souls enslaved in his realm.
Together with Josie, a clever young thief they encounter in the Dark Wood, they begin the long and dangerous journey toward the world above.
But the Underworld is vast, treacherous, and filled with souls who have no intention of letting them leave.
For Hercules, the journey becomes something he never expected: the first true test of what it means to be a hero.

The Muses attempt to tell the story of Hercules their way, but Hercules and Megara interrupt to correct them.
Episode 2 — Waiting on a Miracle
Premieres April 13, 2026
Hercules enters the Underworld searching for a soul worthy of rescue while Megara struggles against Hades, Persephone, and the souls who torment her.
Episode 3 — The Dark Wood
Premieres April 20, 2026
Megara is kidnapped by serpents, but Josie helps drive them away.
Episode 4 — The Fiery Chasm
Premieres April 27, 2026
The trio attempts to cross the dangerous Fiery Chasm.
Episode 5 — The Sea of Misery
Premieres May 9, 2026
The group must obtain a boat from a greedy merchant to cross the Sea of Misery.
Episode 6 — River of Souls Part I
Premieres May 16, 2026
Their souls are weighed to determine whether they may leave the Underworld—but Hades may have other plans.
